LMA Recruitment is looking for a Accounts Semi Senior to contribute to a highly successful practice where you will have a variety of responsibilities across accounts, tax and pensions, offering continuous professional development and collaboration on a range of projects from business development to management accounts.

Salary: £ 25,200-£30,900

The main responsibilities include:

Accounts Preparation

  • Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Review work from trainees, resolving queries and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Handle tax computations for personal, corporation, and P11d taxes, assisting with specialized tax areas such as CGT and IHT.

Team Development

  • Provide feedback and on-the-job training to juniors.
  • Allocate tasks effectively and support professional growth within the team.

Specialized Medical Sector Support

  • Gain exposure to unique aspects of the medical field, such as NHS pension calculations and PCN accounts preparation.


Skills/experience required:

  • 3+ year's experience ideally at Semi Senior level or similar.
  • Familiarity with the medical sector(NHS pension schemes, PCSE Online, GMS contracts) is a plus but not essential.
  • Proficiency with Iris, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage.
  • A thorough understanding of AML regulations, GDPR, and other compliance standards.
  • A client-focused mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
